B r o o d m a r e s Early on, Shoreline Hill Stables' founder, Heather Reinhart, realized that while stallions often take the spotlight at the farm, it's the mares that form the backbone. Our mares were tediously picked to ensure that our backbone is a strong one. Many of our mares were purchased at a young age and trained right here at SHS, ensuring that their formative years were well managed. Many have had competitive success, but regardless of the number of ribbons, each mare is special and treated like royalty upon retirement to the broodmare barn.
